So-Heavenly North! One of two homes next door to each other. Perfect for large families or extended families.
Built in 2010, a newer 2500 sq ft home with 4 deck/balconies. Updated in 2022 with new basement bedroom/bath + new decor
Our guests tell us they love the open feel of our home. Our favorite, often repeated comment, is that this is the first home they have rented that actually exceeded the description. Located on the South Beach side of South Haven, we are one block off the water with the closest public access being a 4 block, 8-10 minute walk to the blue stairs / Kids Korner Park. Nice quiet tree lined street with great neighbors. There’s a fire pit for evening family gatherings, high speed WiFi, flat screen TVs (BYOD), large kitchen, big dining area, 4 decks/balconies, large yard, relaxing décor and more.
Other bonuses include the gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, first floor 9 foot ceilings, crown molding throughout, whirlpool tub in the master bath, living room with cable, two TVs, and two high-end front loading washer/dryer combos. (Yes, two... laundry is not something you should wait on while on vacation!) We are a leisurely 10 minute, 4 block walk along Monroe Blvd. to the blue stairs. (Our home is just a block off the water, with the 'blue stairs' a few blocks north) Downtown and the pier is about a mile north, or a couple minute drive.
For room and bed layout, we have:
Master bedroom with queen including master bath (sleeps 2+)
Hall bedroom with queen (sleeps 2)
Two front bedrooms with full bed (sleeps 2), twin on top, plus trundle - sleeps 4 per bedroom for total of 8.
Basement bedroom with queen (sleeps 2+) and bathroom.
Full bath on main floor
Beds for 14 - For the "+", the rooms are big enough to roll out a mattress or sleeping bag.
Note: Our city of South Haven rental license permits up to 16 occupants. (Most are capped at 12 occupants.)
Our recommendation, up to 5 couples, plus kids. 🙂
For weekly rentals, check-in is 4:00 PM Saturday and check-out is by 10 am the following Saturday. During the off-season, when there's not a back to back rental, we will extend check-in/out upon request.
We provide towels, linens, cooking supplies, spices, and TP to get started on your stay. Just bring food and people!

Policies
Cancellation Policy
Vacation rentals are typically rented months in advance, therefore no immediate refund of payment for cancellation, however if re-rented, all monies recovered less a $50 processing fee will be returned.
In case of cancellation, Owner will work with Renter to mitigate costs by re-renting at mutually agreed rates to reduce out of pocket costs for cancelling party. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent.
Deposit Policy
A damage deposit is required. The deposit will be returned within a week of departure.
Rate varies due to seasonality and holidays.
